The brief for this Victorian stable cottage in the Green Belt was to create a larger kitchen and dining room downstairs with a great link to the garden. An additional bedroom upstairs was an added bonus. Glazing of the ground floor extension is maximised to allow the client to enjoy their location as much as possible – whether the doors are open or closed. All elements of the extension are sympathetic to the original building and reflect the buildings character.
We were pleased to achieve a larger extension than would typically be allowed in a Green Belt.
