Project 1508

The clients primary brief for their new home was to create a full width single storey rear extension to accommodate an open plan living/kitchen/dining area and utility room; convert the garage to a habitable multi-purpose room and convert the whole loft into a generous master suite.  The secondary brief was to make the porch more inviting; raise the driveway level and enclose the driveway with a high vehicle gate.

A large bifolding door to the rear extension helps to link the clients living room to their garden and a large lantern skylight gives natural daylight back to the existing house.  The final design incorporates some timber effect rainscreen cladding to the loft extension and porch, to help soften the extent of face brick and clay roof tiles.

“We hired Keri to carry out our downstairs kitchen/living space extension, loft extension and porch/driveway alterations work.
Keri has remained professional throughout – timely, courteous, reliable and patient. Keri has also given us advice and picked up on aspects which we would not have thought of, such as distances on the side of bed spaces to allow for side tables which do not adversely affect window space and lighting etc.
Keri has been lovely to work with and we would highly recommend her services to friends and family.” {mybuilder.com}
