The Client’s requirement was to achieve an upstairs bathroom and for the third bedroom to have dedicated access, in addition they wanted to convert the downstairs bathroom into a utility room/downstairs toilet. They also wanted to replace the existing spiral stair with a more compact stair case. The enlarged kitchen was the benefit of the upstairs bathroom. As the site was constrained and located in a densely built up area, a pre-planning application consultation was sought. Following design refinements relating to first floor window locations, the planners were satisfied with the proposal.
