You will meet with me, Keri, I’ve been an architect for over 20 years, working on everything from shopping centres and museums to schools, mixed-use developments and homes. These days, my focus is mostly on homes – helping homeowners and small developers turn their ideas into comfortable, well considered spaces that work. I’m also a certified Passivhaus designer, with a practical, down-to-earth approach and a real interest in natural materials and energy efficiency.
Whatever you bring to discuss, I’ll listen carefully, ask the right questions, and give you clear advice to help you take the next step with confidence.
– Click to purchase and you will be offered a choice of available timeslots.
– You will receive booking confirmation and joining details of the meeting.
– Send me some project information and some detail about what you’d like to discuss a day or 3 prior to our meeting.
– We will meet online for a relaxed conversation.
– You will leave with clarity on your next steps.
A sales pitch: This is a genuine advice session, not a disguised attempt to upsell.
Ongoing design services: If you’re looking to appoint us as your architect, this session isn’t the right starting point…although, we’re delighted when this session leads to further work!
Detailed drawings or reports: We won’t be producing any formal drawings or documents during this session.
Design development: We can discuss and sketch ideas, but we won’t be working up design options or doing live design work.
Formal feasibility studies: This is a conversation to guide you, not a substitute for full research, surveys or professional reports.
Absolutely. I regularly support fellow professionals who want a fresh perspective.
It’s ideal for homeowners or self-builders with early-stage questions – or architects and designers looking for a second opinion. Whether you’re exploring ideas, facing a specific challenge or just unsure what to do next, this session offers clear and practical advice.
Almost anything architectural related to your project – early design ideas, planning questions, energy efficient upgrades, technical questions, etc.
If you’re not sure, just ask before booking.
It’s helpful to have a short summary of your project, any drawings or images you’d like to share, and a few questions or topics you’d like to cover.
If you could send information over at least 1 business day before we meet, that would be super helpful.
When you book, you will be offered meeting timeslot options. Once your booking has gone through, you will automatically receive the booking confirmation and the Teams meeting connection details.
Before we meet, I will prepare by reviewing the information you sent and perhaps do a little research.
When our appointment arrives, we will meet virtually and have a relaxed conversation about whatever it is that you need help with.
Following the meeting, you will receive some notes and suggestions which confirm what we discussed.
Unfortunately not, as we do not work on higher risk buildings.
This is an advice session, not a full design commission – and due to the very limited scope, we would not be classified as a “designer” on your project, with certain Legislation in mind. I won’t be drawing plans or issuing formal reports – but I can sketch or annotate something during the call if it helps explain a concept or idea.
