    Oh Heck! Oh Help! What Do I Do?

    Does the dual role of principal designer scare the pants off of you?

    Are you thinking about specifying more ecological materials, but just don’t know where to start?

    Yup, we’ve been there. This business of architecture can be overwhelming – rules, regulations, ethics….it’s a lot…

    Sometimes we all need a little targeted one on one help.

    That’s where I come in – your architectural ally, your sustainability sidekick, your principal designer unraveller.

    I’m here to help you demystify the processes and inject a bit of certainty along the way.

    So, if you’re ready to take the stress out of sustainability and the panic out of principal designer, jump straight ahead and Schedule an Appointment. Let me help you to turn those “Oh heck!” moments into an “Oh yes!” epiphany.

    The purpose of this consultation – or series of consultations – is to allow you to pick my brains about anything that I might be able to help with. The consultation is primarily aimed at other architects and designers….but is relevant to anyone who would like to discuss any of the topics mentioned below.

    Booking a meeting allows me to set aside time to focus on you and your burning questions. The meeting is an informal, but productive, way for you to gather information and inspiration….on whatever topic might be stressing you out.

    Topics that I’m currently very happy to discuss include the following. If you have another topic in mind, perhaps e-mail me first to check whether I’m able to help in some way.

    Insights shared will specifically relate to domestic (and non-high risk building) projects – as, that’s my expertise!

    * The Principal Designer role under both CDM 2015 and the Building Regulations

    * Passivhaus principles, targets and methods

    * AECB principles, targets and methods

    * Low energy design in general

    * Ecological materials
